In-Car Lessons after Online Driving Course Completion


Are you waiting for your First In-Car Driving Lesson with the Globe Driving Academy In-Car Instructor?  On this page, you will find important information about your Driving Training (10 hours) that is part of your Beginner Driver Education Program for Certification and Potential Auto Insurance Discount.  When you complete your BDE Course - online part and are ready to start your driving training, send us an e-mail or contact us by Contact Form on this website, and request Your In-Car Instructor. Connecting you with the driving instructor will take 1 or 2 days. Some students may receive in-car instructor contact info after registration and finalize payment for the BDE Program.  Read the information below to know what you can expect from your driving instructor and your responsibilities as a BDE Course Student.

You Can Expect  Your Driving instructor  During Your In-Vehicle Lesson To:
 

 

  1. Behave in a professional, courteous, and supportive way.
  2. Give you feedback and encouragement as well as identify your mistakes and correct them with you.
  3. Explain the lesson objectives and learning outcomes with you.
  4. Be on time with a clean vehicle inside and out.
  5. Keep an up-to-date record of all your lessons 
  6. Give you an honest opinion as to your readiness to take the road exam.
  7. Inform you as soon as possible if a lesson needs to be re-arranged due to unforeseen events such as illness, personal emergency, weather or road conditions, or unexpected mechanical issues with the vehicle.

Our Driving School Asks That You:
 

 

  1. Contact Your In-Vehicle Instructor to book your first driving lesson. The school will provide you with your driving instructor's phone number after completing the online part of the course. You can schedule up to 2  driving lessons per day (120 min).  Lessons duration could be 1 hour, 1.5 hours, or 2 hours long.
  2. Bring your G1, G2, or G Driving License to your first in-car lesson. You must present your driving permit (G2/G Licence)  to an In-Vehicle instructor, prior to each vehicle instruction.  If you do not  $45 will be charged and the driving lesson will be canceled.
  3. Wear sensible shoes for driving.
  4. Inform your In-Vehicle instructor of any changes which may affect the right or ability to drive. To be in a fit state for your driving lesson (not on certain medication or under the influence of drugs /alcohol).  If your instructor suspects you to not be in a fit state to drive, the lesson will be terminated and you will be charged.
  5. Inform Your Driving Instructor if You want to cancel the pre-booked lesson by providing 24 hours advance notice so the Instructor can re-book your slot to another student. Calls to the main office may not get to your instructor in time. Failure to provide this notice may result in you being charged the full amount for the missed appointment/lesson ($45.00).

G2/G Road Test Booking Fee
 

 

  • If you want to book your G2 Road Test you must first make a payment to the government. Booking Road Test Fee for Your Road Test is not included in Globe Driving Academy Packages.  Only after this payment, your Driving Instructor will be able to book your road test online - if you request this kind of help. 
  • If you purchased the package including a school vehicle for the road test, you can use this service within one year.  After one year your package is expired and the school is not responsible for providing the service you registered for.  Keep track of due dates regarding the BDE Course expiration. Make this course and driving lessons your priority and finish them within the expected time frame to avoid any last-minute problems.
  • If you contact the driving school a few days before your BDE Course (Online Driving Course) expiration, you may not be able to complete your driving lessons on time. Take into consideration that in-vehicle lessons are booked in advance, so the driving instructors may not have available spots prior to your BDE Course expiration date.   
  • Contact our Driving School if you want to upgrade your package in order to include a Vehicle for the Road Test.  Our driving school is not responsible for miscommunication between you and your In-Vehicle Instructor in terms of the price for the services.

  1. Demonstrate proper and safe use of all basic vehicle components.
  2. Explain the importance of vehicle control and its effect on safe driving.
  3. Explain the reason for using and avoiding specific driving techniques.
  4. Demonstrate appropriate control over emotion.
  5. Demonstrate appropriate decision-making.
  6. Demonstrate the ability to predict and anticipate the behaviors of all road users.
  7. Demonstrate appropriate communication with other road users in a variety of driving situations.
  8. Demonstrate effective management of driver distractions,  both inside and outside the vehicle.
  9. Demonstrate effective management of driver attention.
  10. Demonstrate safe, responsible, and proper observation skills.
  11. Demonstrate accurate risk perception.
