My name is Naureen Raziq. If you register for our Beginner Driver Education Course in our Driving School Toronto, I will be your Online Facilitator for this course. Before I introduce myself,  I want to reiterate that the Online Driving Course approved by the Ministry of Transportation is self -paced (independent) course.  Do you know What does it mean?

  1. You can choose your online driving course starting date.
  2. You – not the online instructor – set the pace to study course modules independently. Therefore, be motivated, self-directed, and self-disciplined.
  3. Since your first login into e–learning platform, you have ONE YEAR to complete the Beginner Driver Education course including 10 in-vehicle training (in-car lessons).

Description
  1. You will progress through the online driving course at your own rate and operate instructive lesson pages

Instructor Interaction Level
  
  1. You will learn course material independently.
  2. Your instructor will support your independent learning, grade your home–link assignments, and provide feedback. Some learning activities are automatically graded.

Student-Student Interaction Level
  1. There is no student–student interaction. 
  2. All registered students are at different points in the course at any given time.

Expected Outcomes
  1. You will learn through interaction with the course content, built–in learning activities, and assignments (home– link).

BDE  Course Completion
  1.  The certificate is granted to students who successfully complete:
    a) online part of the BDE course (20 hours + submit 10 hours of Home-Link),
    b) 10 hours of in-vehicle lessons with a passing grade of 70%% or higher. 

 


Even if our Online Driving Course is self-paced and independent - throughout your course, you may have questions or concerns that you would like to ask me as your online instructor.   I am very passionate about Beginner Driver Education and I really look forward to helping you learn independently everything you possibly can about road safety in Ontario, and responsible vehicle handling and controlling in different driving situations and weather conditions.  If you are our current student and need individual support or have any questions, please let me know.
