Driving Skills Refresher Courses for Senior and Older Drivers

Statistics show that seniors drivers face higher risks during maneuvers like left turns and night driving. However, with the proper training and adjustments, older drivers can continue to drive safely for years. Our approach focuses on: A. Adapting to physical changes: Tips for adjusting mirrors, seat positioning, and steering to compensate for reduced flexibility or strength. B. Managing challenging conditions: Strategies for driving at night, in bad weather, or on busy highways. C. Understanding new vehicle technology: Guidance on advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) like backup cameras and lane-departure warnings.

Regular self-checks are key. Ask yourself:

1. Do I struggle with blind spot checks or quick braking?
2. Have I noticed slower reaction times? If yes, a professional driving assessment with our certified driving instructors can identify areas for improvement.
